This company is a slaughterhouse to the workers minds and bodies. Management is ineffective and close-minded. This company hires an abundance of employees and then goes into repeated layoff modes. The union is completely worthless and is more an extension of this companies absurd policies than an advocate for the workers they get dues to represent. Co-workers would slice another's throat to get ahead. This is a cutthroat company with a rabid work culture. Overtime is not too bad and the O/T pay is great. Also we are expected to fill our parts and keep up with the line also does not happen. Now they have taken 2 of the people away and we are still expected to keep up with a moving line. *The hardest part of the job for example. If someone would file a complaint against someone else or just bring it to their attention that they are doing something unsafe or unprofessional they ignore it and do nothing until it is to late. When a complaint is brought to their attention they ignore it until it is to late. They like to sit at their desks and talk most of the day or vanish when something goes wrong. *The management team does not do much other then walk around and complain when line workers are not able to keep up with the line do to to much put onto their station. continuous schedule changes, which cause shortages in parts at times. There is little to no help from others, the supervisors do not communicate what is going on during the day/week. You run out of parts often and it takes time to get more. and is usually slow at first and then speeds up to where you can not keep up and they expect you to.
